My story
COURTESY POST!*These animal(s) are adoptable through private owner(s) and CATS (Cats About Town Society) has not evaluated or examined them. All animal inquiries will go directly to owner. Please reach out if you are interested in adopting!"Skylar is a five-months-old dilute tortie with silvery bull's-eye tabby markings. She was found by out-of-state skydivers at the Lodi skydiving center when she wandered into their hangar, emaciated and sick at only half her normal body weight. In general, she is quiet, relatively independent, playful, and very loving. She has the typical crazy long back legs that Manx cats have and is an amazing jumper! She loves to be up high and would appreciate a cat tree in her new home. When not playing like a crazy thing, Skylar enjoys cuddling on your chest and doing face snuggles. She seems wise for her years, and I suspect she was on her own for some time. She has met my small dogs and is fine with them. She is a self-confident little girl, so I suspect she will be fine with well behaved, respectful dogs and cats.Skylar has been treated for worms, ear mites, and a mild eye infection. She was also tested (negative) for FIV/FeLV, and has been spayed and microchipped. Skylar is blind in her left eye, which may have been damaged when she was a very young kitten. She was evaluated by a veterinary ophthalmologist on November 1, and at this time there is no reason to remove the damaged eye as it is healthy and does not bother her.If you are prepared to accept a rambunctious kitten into your home, and are able to care for a cat for the next 18 years, please feel free to contact me for additional information. She will make the right person an amazing companion! An adoption contract and a fee of $75 will be required. She must be an indoor-only cat."
